With Will Todd, Bethany Halliday, Orchestral Score and girls from the Stephen Perse Foundation
The first performance of Will Todd’s Te Deum in a new version, accompanied by string orchestra Orchestral Score, with electrifying soprano Bethany Halliday, a girls choir from the Stephen Perse Foundation, and composer Will Todd himself on piano. Todd’s exhilarating collision of jazz and choral idioms is paired with works for string orchestra by Finzi and Grieg, along with Eriks Ešenvalds’ moving Long Road. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine in the interval (included in ticket price).

Recently, Musical Director Ralph Woodward and other members and friends of the choir carried out an eight-hour long badminton marathon to raise funds to make this performance possible. Many blisters and sore muscles later, they raised over £1000, and donations continue to come in! If you would like to make a donation, you can do so here.
