Revel in the promise of springtime as the Fairhaven Singers take on Poulenc’s Gloria and Britten’s Spring Symphony, joined by the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus and local choirs from St Mary’s School and The Stephen Perse Foundation, along with a thrilling line-up of soloists. Poulenc’s exuberant sacred work is paired here with Britten’s masterpiece, a setting of English poems celebrating the reawakening of the earth in spring.

Works by Jean Mouton, Samuel Scheidt, John Tavener and Bob Chilcott glimmer alongside traditional carols for audience participation and the premiere of a newly commissioned carol by composer Joseph Phibbs. Experience the mystery and miracle of the season with a mix of well-loved classics and unexpected gems.
